Cleaning the touchscreen

Cleaning, disinfection and maintenance
WARNING
The incubator may be contaminated.
There is a risk of contamination by bacteria, viruses or
other pathogens. Based on its own hazard analysis,
the operator must define whether and in what form
personal protective equipment must be worn.
1.
Before cleaning the interior of the device, empty the inner
chamber.
2.
Open the door of the device and, if necessary, wait until the
chamber has cooled down. Then remove the shelves and start
cleaning the device.
3.
Only water or water with mild detergent should be used.
4.
Allow the device to dry completely after cleaning.
5.
During cleaning you should make sure not to damage the tem-
perature sensors located inside the chamber.
The touchscreen is exposed to dirt, so it must be cleaned regularly.
To clean the touchscreen, use a clean, dry microfibre cloth. Such
cloths are made of a very fine material that collects dirt well.
Before using the cloth, make sure the surface is free
of crumbs and other particles which during cleaning
can act like sandpaper and scratch the surface of
the screen.
If stains cannot be removed by dry wiping, the cloth can be lightly
dampened with water.
Do not use paper towels to clean the screen as it
may cause microdamage.

list.
