2.9 SPECIFICATIONS OF THE INSTALLATION LOCATION
The room where the UPS is installed must be clean and capable of dissipating the heat produced
by the equipment, as shown in
ensure an air exchange of at least 20 m³/h. It is also recommended to consider approximately
600 btu/h for each m² of the room where the equipment is installed.
2.10 SPECIFICATIONS OF THE BATTERY ROOM
If the batteries are located in a separate room, it is necessary to ensure an air exchange of at
least 20 m³/h.
Remember that the average life of the batteries is directly related to the operating temperature.
A temperature close to 20 °C (68 °F) is usually recommended.
NOTE!
When the temperature is above 20 °C (68 °F), for each increase of 10 °C (50 °F),
the battery life drops by half.
2.11 CONNECTIONS TO THE MAINS AND ONE-LINE DIAGRAM
In order to connect the equipment to the mains, it is recommended to use one of the
configurations shown in
without differential protection. If necessary, they must have a pick-up current above 0.3 A,
delayed type and suitable for direct current loads (type A). The capacity (kVA) must be equal to
or greater than the capacity of the equipment, indicated on the serial number label, according
