2.12.2 Remote EPO Pushbutton
The UPSs of the Enterprise family allow the installation of pushbuttons or actuators for the
Emergency Power-Off (EPO) function. This connection may consist of a series of normally-closed
switches, as shown in
the circuit, causing the UPS to shut down with the consequent irreversible interruption of the
voltage to the load.
The series of external EPO pushbuttons must be connected to the CN1 terminals of the remote
communication board. Such board must be configured as indicated in
By factory default, the remote emergency pushbutton contact is supplied disabled. To enable
it, it is necessary to contact an authorized service provider.
