Installation and Operation
ATTENTION!
If for any reason the activation process should be stopped, it is necessary
to execute the command "3.2 SYSTEM STOP", through menu "3. UPS
COMMANDS".
The activation sequence will be immediately suspended and the LCD panel will
display the message "STARTING PROCEDURE INTERRUPTED".
If it is necessary to restart the UPS activation process, use the "3.1 START THE
SYSTEM" command in "Menu 3: UPS Commands" or shut down the UPS and
repeat the activation, as described in the following procedure.
3.5 INSTRUCTIONS TO ACTIVATE THE SYSTEM IN THE NORMAL MODE
(OPTIONAL)

1. Close the RESERVE LINE INPUT switch (DJER).
The LCD panel and all UPS logic boards will start their normal operation.
If the voltage parameters of the reserve line are correct, the UPS fans will turn on. On the
control panel, the red led will light up.
NOTE!
In case of technical problems, if the fans will not switch on, do not proceed
with the UPS activation and contact the Technical Service. Activation mode
available for single equipment only.
2. Close the UPS OUTPUT switch (DJS).
The load connected to the UPS output will be fed by the voltage supplied by the reserve
line. The red LED on the control panel will remain lit.
3. Close the MAINS LINE INPUT switch (DJE).
After 5 seconds, an automatic start process will begin and the LCD display will show the
progress. At the end, the message below will be displayed: "START PROCESS COMPLETED"
and a red LED will remain lit on the control panel. In case of any problems, the LCD will
display the message "START PROCESS FAILED" and the control panel LED will remain red.
In this situation, do not proceed with the activation and contact the Technical Service.
4. Battery connection.
After checking the correct polarity of the batteries, close the battery Panel switch on the
battery enclosure. This switch connects the batteries to the UPS circuits.
5. Turning on the inverter.
In order to complete the start procedure, click on "3. UPS COMMANDS" on the menu, select
and confirm "3.1 START THE SYSTEM". The inverter will be activated, and after 20 seconds
the load will be automatically transferred to it. (If the UPS is set to ENERGY SAVING, the
load will remain on the reserve line). At the end of the procedure, the LCD will display the
message: "START PROCESS COMPLETED" and a green LED will light up on the control
panel.
The system performs an automatic battery test for 2 minutes after the message "START
PROCEDURE COMPLETED" is displayed on the LCD. In case of a technical problem, the
