"BATTERY TEST FAILED" alarm message will be displayed, and the red light on the control
panel will remain lit. In this situation, check the battery connection and voltage, and then
perform a new manual battery test (as described in
on page
36).
Upon the activation of the inverter, the equipment will be feeding the critical load with a stabilized
and uninterrupted voltage.
It is suggested to simulate a short power failure so as to check the correct operation of the
entire UPS/battery system. In order to perform this operation, simply open and then close the
MAINS INPUT switch that feeds the UPS.
ATTENTION!
If for any reason the activation process should be stopped, it is necessary
to execute the command "3.2 SYSTEM STOP", through menu "3. UPS
COMMANDS".
The activation sequence will be immediately suspended and the LCD panel will
display the message "STARTING PROCEDURE INTERRUPTED".
If it is necessary to restart the UPS activation process, use the "3.1 START THE
SYSTEM" command in "Menu 3: UPS Commands" or shut down the UPS and
repeat the activation, as described in the following procedure.
3.6 INSTRUCTIONS TO SHUT DOWN THE UPS

1. UPS shutdown.
Enter menu "3. UPS COMMANDS" and confirm "3.2 STOP THE SYSTEM". An automatic
shutdown process will begin and the progress will be displayed on the LCD screen. At the
end, the following message will be displayed: "System Shutdown Completed" and a red
LED will light up on the control panel.
From this moment, the load will be directly fed by the reserve line.
2. Disconnecting the battery.
Open the battery switch-disconnector on the battery enclosure.
