UPS Enterprise Parallelism Procedure
Turn off the inverter of UPS1 through the control panel and check if UPS2 has become the
MASTER and UPS1 has switched to SLAVE. Turn off the inverter of UPS1 again and check if
UPS2 continues as the MASTER and UPS1 as the SLAVE.
Check the exact relationship of the voltages at the outputs of the two units by measuring
the voltages at the UPS1 and UPS2 output switches. As the switches must be open, the
measurement must be made in the point before the disconnection.
L1-UPS1 = L1-UPS2.
L2-UPS1 = L2-UPS2.
L3-UPS1 = L3-UPS2.
N-UPS1 = N-UPS2.
Turn off the two inverters through the control panel and close the output circuit of both devices
(Figure 5.12 on page
44).

Turn of the inverters of UPS1 and UPS2. Check if the two units are operating in parallel from
this moment. Check if UPS1 is MASTER and UPS2 is SLAVE.
Close the UPS2 reserve input
that is, UPS2 becomes MASTER and UPS1 becomes SLAVE.
