3.3 UPS ACTIVATION CONFIGURATION
The Enterprise UPS can be configured in two different activation modes. The first one is called
"MANUAL", and the second one, "NORMAL".
The UPS default setting is "MANUAL".
Both configurations have the following characteristics:
"MANUAL" mode (default) - This sequential starting mode must be carried out by a qualified

professional. After the process is completed, the LCD screen will display the message
"ACTIVATION PROCEDURE COMPLETED" and a green LED will light up on the control panel.
"NORMAL" mode (optional) - This mode begins a fully automatic sequential start from the input
„
stage pre-charge to provide a proper battery charge. The manual activation of the inverter stage
by the operator completes the activation procedure. At the end, the message "ACTIVATION
PROCEDURE COMPLETED" is displayed, and a green LED will light up on the control panel.
For the proper activation of the UPS, follow the procedure described below.
ATTENTION!
If for any reason the activation process should be stopped, it is necessary
to execute the command "3.2 SYSTEM STOP", through menu "3. UPS
COMMANDS".
The activation sequence will be immediately suspended and the LCD panel will
display the message "STARTING PROCEDURE INTERRUPTED".
Open all the switch-disconnectors of the equipment.
If it is necessary to restart the UPS activation process, use the "3.1 START THE SYSTEM"
command in "Menu 3: UPS Commands" or shut down the UPS and repeat the activation, as
described in the following procedure.
ATTENTION!
The battery fuses are mechanically interlocked against accidental tripping. This
protection should ONLY be removed when requested in the system activation
procedure.
