NOTE!
If the operator does not take any action for three minutes, menu "UPS STATUS
AND ALARMS" is displayed automatically.
4.2.2 Menu 1: UPS Status and Alarms
This menu is characterized by the first line of the message, which may be UPS IN OPERATION
(if the UPS is operating normally) or UPS WITH ALARM (if the UPS is in the alarm condition).
The meanings of the displayed messages are indicated below:
4.2.2.1 UPS in Normal Operating Conditions
Message
Inverter ON
Inverter load
Reserve load
Reserve ok or reserve not available
Battery charge floating
Reduced or rated fan speed
Main OK or unavailable
Sync OK / No Sync
Main UPS
Slave UPS
4.2.2.2 UPS in Fault Conditions
If the UPS has a fault, the normal status message will be replaced by an alarm message. The
alarm message will be different depending on the type of fault. The acoustic alarm can be
silenced by pressing the ESC button. The ENTER (<>) button can be used to display the list of
alerts, enabling the operator to understand the meaning of the alarm.
The <BACK or NEXT> buttons can be used to check all active alarms. When the cause of the
alarm disappears, the LCD screen will return to the default message.
The possible alarms and related help messages are indicated below:

The inverter is switched on and operating normally
The load is fed by the inverter
The load is fed via Bypass. Such condition may be temporary, lasting 20
seconds after a transient overload
The Bypass has the voltage within the allowable limits or not
Battery voltage is within specified limits
Fans operate at a slower speed when the module temperature is below 60 °C
(140 °F) or at rated speed when the module temperature is above 60 °C (140 °F)
The power supply line is switched on and the voltage is within the permissible
limits
Indicates the normal state of synchronization between the inverter and the
Bypass line
Controls other UPSs in parallel system (Master UPS)
Controlled by another UPS in parallel system (Slave UPS)
