2.12.3 Remote Manual Bypass
The Remote Manual Bypass is an auxiliary system that, when closed, allows the critical load to
be connected directly to the reserve line input, excluding the UPS. The Remote Manual Bypass
of the system consists of a power switch that connects the reserve line to the load and a NO
contact that closes when operated. Such contact must be connected to CN2 of the remote
communication board.
The remote communication board must be configured as indicated in
By factory default, the remote bypass contact is supplied disabled.
To enable it, it is necessary to contact an authorized service provider.
NOTE!
If it is necessary to enable the remote Bypass command on the communication
board, contact the Technical Service. Uninterrupted power supply is not
guaranteed during the powering of the loads via bypass.
2.12.4 Grounding Connection
The ground cable must be connected to the corresponding UPS terminal, and IT MUST ALWAYS
BE THE FIRST CABLE TO BE CONNECTED TO THE EQUIPMENT. It is recommended to
apply a proper corrosion inhibitor between the ground bar and the cable terminal so as to
ensure reliable contact over time.
All enclosures and accessories must be grounded according to the local regulations.
DANGER!
Improper grounding may cause a risk of electric shock or fire.
