Note on the Packing Material

(Except for COP-X202ES)
Before playing the unit for the first time, be
sure to remove the protective material (a))
from the disc tray.
Do not throw away the protective matenal
since you will need it when transporting the
unit in the future.
The material protects the optical block
inside the unit from mechanical shock and
vibration when transporting.
To attach the material before
transporting
1 Turn the power on and wait for more
than 5 seconds.
2 Press 2 OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc
tray and turn the power off, leaving the
tray open. (if a dis¢ is on the tray, be
sure to remove it.)
3 Attach the material to the disc tray. and
close the tray slowly until it stops The
optical block is now locked.
To remove the material after
transporting
1 Turn the power on.
2 Press 2 OPEN/CLOSE to open the tray
and remove the matenat. The optical
block is now unlocked.
