Designating the Total
Playing Time
When you select HALF DISC, the unit
programs selections as follows:
Time edit: divides ail the selections of
the disc into two programs
without changing their order,
Just edit: programs selections by
changing their order so that the
length of each program become.
half the total playing time of the
disc. However the program for
side A will be a little longer than
that of side B since the unit
distributes all the selections.
Note
HALF DISC cannot be set on a disc wi
more than 20 selections.
3 Press EDIT/TIME FADE.
The selections for side A are determin
automatically,
4 Press EDIT/TIME FADE once more.
Another program for the other side 1s
completed.
If "LINK" flashes and "EDIT" does
not go off (LINK EDIT)
You can add some selections whose
playing times are shorter than the
remaining time of each program after all tl
selections on the disc are programmed.
"LINK" and the selection numbers will flas
(See Fig. EY.)
You can add the selections by pressing
EDIT/TIME FADE once more, or the
numeric buttons for these selections to
utilize the remaining time.
You can replace the disc by another disc
and choose selection(s) to fit the remaimr
time.

"EDIT" goes off when the rest of the play
time is less than 1 minutes.

There are many selections on the disc. In this
case. press @.
The programming procedure will be stopped a
