SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
FOR STAPLERS
• Always assume that the tool contains fasteners.
Careless handling of the stapler can result in
unexpected firing of fasteners and personal injury.
• Do not point the tool towards yourself or anyone
nearby. Unexpected triggering will discharge the
fastener causing an injury.
• Do not actuate the tool unless the tool is placed firmly
against the workpiece. If the tool is not in contact with
the workpiece, the fastener may be deflected away
from your target.
• Disconnect the tool from the power source when the
fastener jams in the tool. While removing a jammed
fastener, the nailer may be accidentally activated if it
is plugged in.
• Do not use this stapler for fastening electrical cables.
It is not designed for electric cable installation and
may damage the insulation of electric cables thereby
causing electric shock or fire hazards.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT
EYE PROTECTION which provides
protection against flying particles both

against flying fasteners and debris, which could cause
severe eye injury. The employer and/or user must

equal or greater grade than defined in EN166 should
be used. However all aspects of the operators work,
environment and other type/s of machinery being used
should also be considered when selecting any personal
protection equipment.
Note: Non-side shielded spectacles and face shields
alone do not provide adequate protection.
m CAUTION: ADDITIONAL SAFETY
PROTECTION may be required in some
environments. For example, the working
area may include exposure to noise
levels that can lead to hearing damage. The employer
and user should ensure that any necessary hearing
protection is provided and used by the operator and
others in the work area.
