Attention!
Damage to appliance materials
¾ Store the device in a clean, dry enclosed space.
¾ Protect the device from rust when storing it for
lengthy periods of time.
¾ Protect the device from frost.
Clean the device and the grass catcher.
Î
Wipe all metal parts down with an oily cloth or

spray them with oil to protect them from rust.
Charge the battery.
Î
Remove the battery in the event of long-term
Î
storage (e.g. over winter).
Charge up the battery every 6–8 weeks in the
Î
event of long-term storage and before reinstalling.
Drain the fuel and shut down the engine – see the
Î
engine manual.
Check the tyre pressure.
Î

Transport
Note
The device is not approved for public thor-
oughfares in accordance with national road
legislation (StVO).
Short distances
Switch off the cutter deck before driving the
Î
mower.
Prior to driving, move the cutter deck to the
Î
highest position (index 4.5).
Drive the machine only short distances to change
Î
its location of use.
Long distances
Danger posed by unstable and unsecured
ramps
ÂRisk of serious injury to people and sever
damage to property
¾ If you are pushing the device onto a
trailer or into a lorry, first make sure that
the ramp is stable and secure.
Danger posed by inadequate fastening
ÂTurbulence during transport
¾ If you are transporting the device in a
trailer or lorry, fasten it and secure it
adequately.
Attention!
Environmental hazard due to leaked fuel
¾ Do not transport the device in a tilted state.
Transport the device on a transport vehicle over

long distances.
Manually push the device in neutral into/onto the
Î
transport vehicle.
Activate the parking brake and secure the device
Î
against slipping.
