N. B. - During said operation check that the cam diameter which
projets beyond the outer stator face is not in contact with
the dolly to ensure that on rivetting, the washer
blocked down in position.

N. B. - For the models of Vespa G. S. indica­
ted, use the punch 550807.
6. - Using the mandrel T. 0026471 and a clock gau­
ge ( see fig. 23), check the concentricity of the
dia. B and the perpendicularity of the plane P
with respect to the axis of rotation. If the ec­
centricity should exceed 0.03 mm skim over
the dia. B on a lathe.
Centre the diameter B on the lathe in an indi­
pendent jaw chuck by means of a clock gauge
and skim over the dia. C, ( if it should result ec­
centric), ensuring that a dia. of l 06. 4 mm and
a depth of 25 mm are not exceeded.
7. - Recheck the concentricity of the diameters with
the mandrel T. 0026482 and clock gauge ( see
fig. 24). Check the flywheel rotor for balance
using the mandrel and two knife edges « a
as indicated in fig. 24.
Correct out of balance errors by drilling blind
holes in the apposite pole shoe ( see holes « F »
in fig. 24).
N. B. - For flywheels with the magneto intro­
duced as casting inserts, the balancing holes
should be drilled on the external surface of
the pole shoes.
