REMOVING THE STRAP
Make sure that no personnel is in the area below the anchorage before removing the Strap. In the event that the Strap may fall during removal, it could strike persons below. The user should wear
eye protection and a hard hat during this procedure.
Begin the removal procedure by installing the Strap Tool on the end of the Pole using the procedure described in section 2.2.
1.
Raise the tool and engage the sewn loop of the Strap with the nose of the tool at the position marked with a "4." Pull downward to begin working the D-ring end of the Strap through the sewn
loop.

Continue pulling downward on Strap loop.
3.
If necessary, engage the D-ring with the hook-shaped feature marked "2" on the tool and push the Strap upward to loosen the tight loop formed by the Strap around the anchorage or to finally
thread the D-ring back through the loop.
4.
Insert tool and pole through loop and slide the gated slot of the tool, marked with a "3," onto the webbing of the Strap.
5.
Lift the Strap free from the anchorage and lower it to working level.
To prevent accidental release of the strap, use the gated slot of the tool to grasp the strap in this step of the procedure.
Remove the Strap from the tool. Clean, inspect and store the Strap and tools in the Tote Bag provided with the RCD System.

RETIRO DE LA CORREA

DÉCROCHAGE DE LA COURROIE

personnes qui se trouvent en dessous. L'utilisateur doit porter une protection oculaire et un casque de sécurité pendant cette procédure.
Commencer la procédure en installant l'outil de la courroie à l'extrémité de la tige télescopique et en suivant la procédure décrite à la section 2.2.
1.
Soulever l'outil, avec le nez de l'outil à la position marquée d'un « 4 », et y insérer la boucle cousue de la courroie. Tirer vers le bas pour faire entrer l'extrémité de l'anneau en D de la courroie
dans la boucle cousue.
2.
Continuer à tirer la boucle cousue vers le bas.
3.
Si nécessaire, engager l'anneau en D dans la fente en forme de crochet de l'outil (marquée « 2 ») et tirer la courroie vers le haut pour desserrer la boucle formée par la courroie autour de
l'ancrage ou pour faire passer l'anneau en D dans la boucle.
4.
Insérer l'outil et la tige télescopique dans la boucle et faire glisser la fente protégée de l'outil, marquée « 3 », à l'intérieur de la boucle de la courroie.
5.
Soulever la courroie de l'ancrage et la ramener au niveau de travail.
pour éviter un décrochage accidentel de la courroie, utiliser la fente protégée de l'outil pour saisir la courroie à cette étape de la procédure.
Enlever la courroie de l'outil. Nettoyer, inspecter et entreposer la courroie et les outils dans le sac fourre-tout fourni avec le système RCD.
