4.6 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the breadmaker from the plug before cleaning. Let the bread maker cool
down completely before cleaning.
Do not immerse the cable, plug or casing in liquids. Risk of electric shock!
2. Remove the dough hook (4) from the baking dish (5). If the dough hook (4) is
difficult to remove from the bread, put water on the bottom of the baking dish
(5) and let it soak for up to 1 hour. Carefully wipe the dough hook (4) with a damp
cotton cloth.
3. Take out the baking dish (5) by turning it counterclockwise and then lifting it by
the handle (6). Wipe the inside and outside of the dish (5) with a damp cloth.

The baking dish (5) and the dough hook (4) must not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Only use a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
4. Let the appliance cool down after use. Use a damp cloth to wipe the lid (7), the
casing (12), the baking chamber and the inside of the viewing window (8). Do not
use abrasive cleaners to clean the appliance, as they will destroy the glossy surface.
Never immerse the casing in water for cleaning. Risk of electric shock!
Never remove the lid (7) for cleaning!
5. Before storing the bread machine, make sure that it has cooled down completely,
is clean and dry and that the lid is closed.
