4.2 hANDlING AND STORING

WARNING!
• During transport and handling, the machine must always be kept in a horizontal position so as to pre-
vent the oil leaking from the pump.
• Sealing bars and panels must be set in place so as to prevent them from moving inside the vacuum chamber.
• If the appliance is stored, the area must be protected, dry, ventilated, covered and not exposed to weathering.
• The area in question must have a temperature range of 5°C to 40°C and a relative humidity value that does not
exceed 80%
• Water and water vapour must be kept at a distance from the installation or storage area.
WARNING!
After having been stored for a long time, perform the following operations:
• The pump oil must be replaced before starting-up, as described in the instructions found in the "MAINTENANCE"
chapter. The oil replacement must be carried out exclusively by authorised and specialised personnel, in com-
pliance with the instructions and the requirements in this manual.
• A dehumidification cycle must be run, as described in the "OPERATION" chapter.
