11.13 REPlACING ThE GAS SPRINGS

1) To access the hinges and gas springs, follow steps 3 to 9 in section 11.7.
2) Dismount the back panel
and remove both the lo-
cking pivots of the hinges
at the top of the body by
pulling them up and away
from the hinges.
3) Remove the head of the gas spring from the fork of the hinge and unscrew the pivot pin.
4) Install the new gas springs in the same position as the old ones.
5) Reinsert the locking pins, aligning them on the head ring of the gas spring.
6) Close the machine following steps 13 to 19 in section 11.7.
