Note!
• Refer to sections 5.3 and 5.5 for a
description of the parameters.
• To prevent accidental changes of
the parameter settings, you can
lock the buttons. To do so, stop the
CPM device (no menu is open) and
simultaneously press the MENU and
STOP buttons for approx. 3 seconds:
the lockout menu displays in which
individual functions can be locked (for
details, see: section 5.3.2). Press both
buttons again for approx. 3 seconds to
unlock and disable the lockout func-
tion in the lockout menu.
• Selecting the "New Patient" function
will automatically delete the data on
the patient chip card.
Note!
• When you have finished programming
the device and press the STOP button,
the settings will automatically also be
saved to the patient chip card.
• Stop system
(ending the therapy session):
The ARTROMOT®-S4 will stop imme-
diately, when any of the three buttons
is pressed during the therapy session.
As an alternative, you can tap the
display during operation. The question
"STOP?" will appear in the header of
the display. Tap the field to end the
session. When the START button is
pressed afterwards, the CPM device
automatically moves in the opposite
direction of the last movement.
Note!
• While you adjust the values, the CPM
device moves to the set range. This
allows you to easily and quickly deter-
mine the ROM where the patient does
not experience pain.
• The angle entered last for the respec-
tive directions of motion will be saved
in each case.
• The individual settings of the
ARTROMOT®-S4 are always pro-
grammed in context-related function
levels.
• You can navigate between levels and
functions by tapping the appropriate
symbol on the control pendant.
