Isolation program
For this special function, all motors are switched on but will never move simul-
taneously.
These are the steps of the special function:
• At first, motor A moves to the programmed maximum values for anteversion
and retroversion. This cycle is performed 5 to 20 times as configured. Then,
the motor stops. Meanwhile, motors B and C are inactive.
• Then, motor B moves to the programmed maximum values for adduction and
abduction for the set number of cycles, after which it stops. Meanwhile, mo-
tors A and C are inactive.
• Then, motor C moves to the programmed maximum values for internal and
external rotation for the set number of cycles and stops also. Finally, the full
cycle will start over with motor A. Motors A and B are inactive while motor C
is operating.
• The stop position at the end of the last cycles (for adduction/abduction as
well as for anterversion and retroversion and internal/external rotation) can
be selected in steps of 25% between 0% and 100 % of the programmed maxi-
mum range of motion.
• Steps 1 and 2 can be repeated as often as needed. You can stop treatment
with the STOP button; after the programmed therapy duration, it will stop
automatically.
Default setting: disabled
To program the isolation pattern, proceed as follows:
1. Program the range of motion as described in section 5.1.
2. Select the motion pattern in the "Expert" menu under "Therapy" by tapping
the appropriate symbol. The sub-menu for activation / deactivation of the
function will be displayed. The possible settings are displayed in gray.
3. Activate the function. The possible subsequent functions are displayed in
color.
4. Set the desired number of cycles (5 to 20).
5. Set the respective standby positions for the motors (parked position while
another motor is operating)
Default setting: 25 %
6. If appropriate, set pauses, speed, or timer.
7. Press START to save the settings and start the treatment.
