THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ THEM VERY CAREFULLY AND
RETAIN THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
1
PARENTS SHOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS CHILD RESTRAINT ON A
PASSENGER SEAT EQUIPPED WITH AN AIRBAG.
2
Never use the child seat without fastening the child's harness correctly, and never attempt to use it
without fastening it into the car as described in these fitting instructions.
3
It is most important that the seat belt is correctly routed and the child seat is tightened down on the
upholstery as firmly as possible to ensure maximum protection. A recommended method is shown in
these instructions.
4
Do not add to or modify this product in any way.
5
Never use this product if it has been in an accident, or if it has become badly worn.
Periodically inspect the harness for wear, paying particular attention to connection points, stitching and
adjusting devices.
6
Do not leave a child in the seat unattended at any time.
7
Ensure that no part of the seat restraint is trapped in a door or a folding seat. If your car has a folding
rear seat, ensure that it is correctly latched in its upright position.
8
Car interiors can become very hot when left standing in direct sunlight. It is therefore recommended that
the child seat is covered by a towel etc. when not in use. This prevents components, particularly those
attached to the child seat, from becoming hot and burning the child.
9
In the event of an emergency it is important that the child can be released quickly. This means that the
buckle is not fully tamperproof, and therefore your child should be persuaded never to play with the
buckle.
10 The lap portion of the child harness or seat belt must be kept as low as possible over the lap and never
be pulled towards the stomach.
11 Luggage and other heavy or sharp objects should be secured in the car. Loose objects are liable to
cause injury in the event of an accident.
12 This child safety seat must not be used without the cover. (Only use a seat cover recommended by the
manufacturer.)
13 When the child seat is not in use, it is recommended that it is fastened in the car with a seat belt to avoid
it from being thrown about in the event of an accident.
14 In an emergency your child can be released quickly by pressing the red button on the harness buckle.
15 Do not remove the backing pad or slide impact pads located between the seat shell and the cover.
16 Store this child seat in a safe place when it is not being used. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it.
17 This child seat has been designed for use in the car and should NOT be used in the home.
18 Do not use the child safety seat when the leg support does not touch the vehicle floor or when only part
of the leg support touches the car floor.
19 Do not install the child safety seat in seats under which the vehicle floor contains a fuse box, stow seat,
console box, spare tire storage space, etc.
20 Do not use the child safety seat with the leg support removed.
21 Do not orient the child safety seat sideways except when using it in the bed configuration.
22 Do not use the child safety seat with the buckle removed.
23 Do not place a cushion between the leg support and the vehicle floor.
24 Do not place anything in front of the child safety seat that could release the lock on the front of the leg
support adjustment button.
25 Do not use in the bed configuration when the child safety seat is installed in the rearward facing
orientation.
26 Do not use the child safety seat in the bed configuration when the child's legs extend outside of the child
safety seat.
27 The child's head must not be positioned towards the outside of the seat when using the child safety seat
in the bed configuration.
