ANTENNA C ONNECTIONS
CONNECTING THE SUPPLIED ANTENNAS
Connectionsdiffer accordingto the suffixof the model numberon
the rear of your unit.
Preparation
• Untie the supplied FM feeder antenna.
• Stand the suppliedAM loop antenna on a surface by fixing the
claw to the slot. _
Connection _ []
Pushthe lever of each terminal, and insertthe conductor. Then,
release the lever to lock.
FM: Connect the conductorofthe FM feeder antenna (_ tothe FM
75_ terminals.
AM: Connect th_'conductol of the AM loop antenna _ to the AM
LOOP terminals.
Positioning FM feeder antenna
Extendthisantenna horizontallyin a T-shape and fixitsendstothe
wall with cellophane tape.
Positioning AM loop anfenrta
To fix it to the wall, use screw._
Find the best positionfor recel_ion, and fixthisantenna vertically.

• Do notbringthe endsofthe FM feeder antenna near metalobjects
or curtain rails.
• Do not unwind the AM loop antenna wire.
• Do not bring the AM loop antenna near a tumtable system, CD
player,TV monitor,or the stereo system itself,or close tothe AC
cordor speaker cords, since noise will be pickedup.
CONNECTING AN OUTDOOR ANTENNA
For better FM reception, use of an outdoor antenna is recom-
mended.
Connect the outdoorantenna to the FM 75Q terminals. _ []
