To check the remaining time
Press the CD EDIT/REMAIN buttonduring playback.
The amount of time remaining until all tracks finish playing is
displayed.
To restorethe play time display,press it again.
When usingthe remote control,press the EDIT/REMAIN button.
To skip discs
Pressthe DISC SKIP buttonon the remotecontrolto skipadisc and
pressthe <11_ button to play the next disc. Play begins with the
next disc and all the discs are played once includingthe skipped
disc.
• Discscan be skippedduring play.
To play one disc only _ []
Press one of the DISC DIR_=CTPLAY buttonsto start play. The
selected disc is played.
Only the indicatoi" of the selected disc number is circled in the
display as shown (_).
If you pressed one of the DISC DIRECT PLAY buttonswith the
power off,play begins with the selected disc. (See page 20.)

To remove discs
Press the A_OPEN/CLOSE bu_on to open the disccompartment.
You can removetwo discs. To'remove the disc on the backtray,
pressthe DISC CHANGE button to rotate the disc tray.
If you press the A OPEN/CLOSE button with the power off
The power is turned on and the disc compartment opens.
• Do not tiltthe unitwith discs loaded. This may dislodgethe discs.
Use underthese conditionsmay damage the discs.
• Do notplace morethan one compactdisc on one disc trayat the
same time.

CHANGING DISCS DURING PLAY
Up to two discs can be replaced duringplay. _ r_
1 Pressthe DISC CHANGE buttonto ope'n the disccompartment.
2 Remove the discs and place other discs.
The disc placed on the left side tray will be played next.
3 Press the • OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc compart-
ment.
All discsare playedonce.
