9 Program the tracks to be recorded on side B.
After confirming _ in the display, repeat steps 5 and 6 for
side B.
10 Press the • R ECRIEC MUTE button to start record-

The tape is rewoundto the beginningof the front side, plays
throughthe leader for 10 seconds, and then recordingstarts.
When you use the remote controlto startrecording,first press
the e/O REC/REC MUTE buttonandthen pressthe < • button
within 2 seconds.
To stop recording in the middle
Press the • buttbn,
Recordingand CD play stop simultaneously.
To clear the edit program
Beforerecording,pressthe • CLEAR buttontwice sothat EDIT in
the display goes out, The first press of the button clears the
program on side A and the second press clears the program on
side B.

To clear the programon both sidesat the same time, pressthe --&.
OPEN/CLOSE button.
To check the edit program
Before recording, pressthe CD EDIT/REMAIN button.
The program for one side of the tape is displayed each time the
