5.9 Transferring the program to the Safety Part
This section describes the data and program transfer to a Safety Part.
• If the interface has been started (via the Device Interface button), the interface toolbar for the device
appears.
The toolbar contains connection and transfer tools for communicating with the device. You will find a
description for the device interface in the chapter "5.2.7 Program transmission to MINAS by clicking on the
Device Interface".
• Via "Connection Settings", the window for the document dialogues, in which "Document" and "Master
Device" tabs are located, is opened.
• For multiple Servo Drivers, each Servo Driver is stored in its own tab. On Document tab, the user can add the
developer name and enter a comment. The "Master Device" tab consists of Device Information and
Connection Settings. This menu can also be accessed via "Document Properties" button in the menu bar.
Exact current transmission states or possible errors states are displayed in the message window. Because of
the limited space, this window is not automatically activated in every message, so that as much of the logic
plan as possible can be displayed during diagnosis.
•
The connection between PC and AC Servo Driver MINAS A6 Multi series is based on a USB
interface which requires installation of the correct driver. The driver is included in the
scope of delivery. You can find it in the installation directory of PANATERM for Safety
programming environment (directory USB_Driver).
•
The connection between PC and AC Servo Driver MINAS A6 Multi series may disconnected
if the communication is unstable due to various factor such as USB cable, USB HUB, PC
and so on. In such case, please improve USB communication environment.
