12. Sensor check measurements
Warning
Sensor check measurements may only be made by
Grundfos or personnel authorized by Grundfos.
The values in the following table were measured on the free end
of a 10 m cable. The other end of the cable is connected to the
pump.
The values may differ if the length of the cable is not 10 m.
A grundfos sensor test box may also be used for check
measuring the sensors. Furthermore, the sensor test box gives
the response values by means of LEDs, to indicate if the sensor
is ok.
It is also possible to measure the sensors by means of a standard
instrument measuring amperes and Ohms. See figs.

12.1 Check measurement using a standard instrument
Warning
Do not use a megohmmeter for checking
measurements as this will damage the control circuit.
If the measured value is in Ω, disconnect the conductors from
IO 111.
If the measured value is in mA, disconnect conductor 6(9) from
P5 and connect the standard instrument to 6(9) and P5.
