1. Lift the vehicle.
2. Check that the wheels (or one wheel) are able to turn freely and that the measuring heads
are switched on and not locked.
3. Press the "ROC" key (fig. 25) of the measuring head on which you wish to perform the ROC
procedure. An hourglass appears on the screen to indicate the start of the measurement;
when the hourglass disappears and the "OK" message appears on wheel concerned, the
initial position (0°) of that wheel has been saved in memory.
Important: Do not touch the measuring heads during the measurement data acquisition
phase.
4. Manually turn the wheel by 90° following the instructions (fig. 28)
Important: Turn the wheel always, and only, in the clockwise direction.
5. Press the measuring head "ROC" button again (fig. 25) to have the measuring head store
the position.
6. Wait for the audible signal and for the "OK" message to appear, indicating that the "90°"
position has been saved in memory.
7. Manually turn the wheel by another 90° in the same direction.
Important: Turn the wheel always, and only, in the clockwise direction.
8. Press the measuring head "ROC" button again (fig. 25) to have the measuring head store
the position.
9. Wait for the audible signal and for the "OK" message to appear, indicating that the "180°"
position has been saved in memory.
10. Repeat steps 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 for the other wheels.
Notes
• Turn the wheel exclusively in the clockwise direction.
• The compensation of a wheel can be repeated by pressing the "ROC" key of the
corresponding measuring head.
• The ROC procedure can be performed on more than one wheel simultaneously; the important
thing is not to perform the procedure simultaneously on two wheels on the same side (e.g.
front right wheel and rear right wheel).
• Check that the wheels are able to turn freely and that the measuring heads are switched on and
not locked.
• Press the "ROC" key (fig. 25) on any one of the measuring heads to start the procedure. Four
hourglasses appear on the screen to indicate the start of the measurement; when the
hourglasses disappear and the "OK" message appears on the four wheels, the measurement
of the initial position (0°) has been completed on all the wheels.
• Push the vehicle following the instructions (fig. 29) so as to turn the wheels by approximately 90°.
• Press the "ROC" button of any of the measuring heads again (fig. 25) to have the measuring
head store the position.
• Wait for the audible signal and for the "OK" message to appear, indicating that the "90°"
position has been saved in memory for all the wheels.
• Move the car to the initial position, thus making the wheels rotate for about 90° in the reverse
direction until they reach their initial position (0°).
