3. Replace the O-ring on the injector nozzle seat (fig. 4,
item 2) with the one needed (D7 or D9). To replace
the O-Ring, use the removal tool (fig. 4, item 1).
i
Depending on the diameter of the injector nozzle
retaining nut (17 mm / 19 mm / 21 mm) or test
adapter of the CRI/CRIN or piezo CRI, it may be
necessary to exchange or remove the clamping bush
(fig. 5, item 2) in the injector clamp.
i
CRIN injectors with a test adapter (fig. 7, item  3) do
not need a clamping bush.
4. Insert the right clamping bushing (fig. 5 item 4) into
the injector clamp.
5. Shove the CRI/CRIN or piezo CRI into the clamping
blush.
6. Firmly press the injector nozzle of the CRI/CRIN or
piezo CRI into the injection chamber.
7. If necessary, adjust the height of the injection
chamber and secure with the clamping bolt (fig. 5,
item 3).
8. Tighten the CRI/CRIN or piezo CRI with the clamping
bolt (fig. 5, item 1).

Connection adapter for CRI/CRIN and CRI
Piezo
!
Always connect the high-pressure hose assembly
(fig. 6, item 5) to the CRI/CRIN or piezo CRI by way of
the connection adapter. Never connect the high-pres-
sure hose assembly directly to the CRI/CRIN or piezo
CRI. Always keep the connection adapter clean.
The high-pressure hose assembly (fig. 6, item 4) is con-
nected to the high-pressure connection of the CRI/CRIN
or piezo CRI by way of the connection adapter (fig. 6,
item 3). The adapter (fig. 6, item 2) must also be used
for connecting to the high-pressure connection with the
M14x1.5 thread.
Tightening torque: 25 — 30 Nm.
