Decommissioning
9.1
Change of location
When changing the location of the EPS 118, note the
following:
R
Unplug the electrical connection.
R
Disconnect the pneumatic connection.
R
Drain the test oil out of the test oil tank
(see sec. 8.2.6, steps 1 to 9).
If the EPS 118 is to be sold or passed on, all the doc-
umentation included in the scope of delivery must be
handed over together with the unit.
9.2
Scrapping
Before scrapping, the test oil in the EPS 118 must be
completely drained (see sec. 8.2.6, steps 1 to 9). The
test oil filters must also be removed and disposed.

Oils are hazardous to water and must be disposed
of in the legally specified manner. Test oil as per
ISO 4113 is a category 1 oil. This category includes
recyclable, low viscosity and mineral oil. Used oils of
category 1 must not contain any foreign substances,
e.g. used oil of a different category or gasoline.
Test oil must be disposed of by commercial used oil
disposal companies and is subject to charge. The
corresponding refuse code number 54112 must be
quoted to ensure proper disposal.

Disposal
This EPS 118 is subject to European guide-
lines 2012/19/EU (WEEE).
Old electrical and electronic devices, includ-
ingcables and accessories or batteries must
be disposed of separate to household waste.

Please use the return and collection sys-
tems in place for disposal in your area.

Damage to the environment and hazards
to personal health are prevented by prop-
erly disposing of EPS 118.
