90°
Parameter: Lever +/-
Range -100 ... 0 ... 100
Adjustment
range:
Default 0
The parameter Lever +/- is only required for three-
point swashplate linkages whose linkage points are
not equi-distant from the rotor shaft centreline, usually
for mechanical reasons.
The difference is set as a percentage of the radial di-
mension (rotor shaft centre
servo HEAD f/b to the two side-mounted servos HEAD
le and HEAD ri . The lateral levers are set to 100%.
Example:
Distance HEAD f/b : 40 mm
Distance HEAD ri / le : 50 mm (= 100%)
In our example the lever for the fore-and-aft linkage
( HEAD f/b ) is 20% shorter than the levers for the two
side-mounted linkages.
The correct setting is: Lever +/-

Tip:
Once you have entered the mechanical values of the
swashplate as Parameters for the Rotor head mixer,
the next step should be to carry out a careful and thor-
ough calibration of the Head servos; this is carried out
in the menu K Servo.Calibrate (
step is essential if accurate swashplate control is re-
quired. The direction of servo rotation can be checked
by giving collective pitch commands from the transmit-
ter: if any servo rotates in the wrong direction, you will
need to reverse it ( REV ). It can be useful to disconnect
the pushrods between the swashplate and the rotor
head for the servo calibration process, as this makes
it easier to calibrate the maximum travels ( P1 , P5 ).
The settings for roll, pitch and collective pitch travels
are entered in the menu H Control (
Tip: Helicopters with Heim mechanics
If you wish to fly a helicopter fitted with the HEIM me-
chanical system, please follow this procedure:
1. Select HELIccpm as template for the new model.
2. Assign Elevator (pitch) to an unused servo chan-
nel.
3. Set Geometry to 90 ° in the mixer Rotor head. .
This means that the servos HEAD le and HEAD ri
are controlled only by the transmitter controls for
Aileron and Elevator (roll and pitch).
4. The servo Head f/b is not required; this channel is
left unused at the receiver.
