Anchor on bend (page 3 ind. I)
An original design, this component is used for
installation on a horizontal plane and when the route
of the lifeline has angles whose standard opening is
between 85° and 95°. The bend anchor is not indexed
with respect to the bracket, the angle of inclination of

the anchor relative to the bracket must be between
80 and 100° to ensure optimum operation when an
operator falls on the lifeline. During the fall, there is
simultaneously switching of anchors relative to the
brackets and the collapse of the bend tube to minimize
the breakaway torque on the host structure.
There are 2 types of bend anchors, depending on the
type of installation layout:
• For installation on a horizontal or tilted plane on
concrete or steel structure,
• For installation on a horizontal or tilted plane on
interface plates.
The bend anchor kits consist of nine parts:
1. Two anchors
2. Two mounting brackets (I)
3. Two M16x55 bolts
4. Two M16x45 bolts
5. Four M16 lock nuts
6. Four M16 washers
7. A bent tube
8. A foolproof locator only on the plate for installation
on interface plate
9. A plate
