For the rest of the installation, follow the points e) and
f) of the procedure for the fixing of the bend anchor on
structural anchoring in accordance with figure 15 on
page 9 (section 7.6.3).
 Installation is complete.

6.7. Installation of the tensioner
6.7.1. General
The tensioner (Fig. 1/2, ind. B) of the travflex™ 2 lifeline
is moored on one side to the end anchor (Fig. 1/2, ind.
(A) and the other on the INRS shock absorber (Fig. 1/2,
ind. D) through a quick link connector (Fig. 1/2, ind. J)
or optional directly onto a tension indicator (Fig. 1/2,
ind. C).
In standard delivery, the tensioner is delivered with
2 shells totally screwed into the body and place in a
polyethylene bag with a flashing kit.
6.7.2. Installation on the end anchor
The following installation procedure refers to Figure 17
on page 11:
a. Completely loosen the two half-shells (ind. 1) and
tighten to 3 turns in the body (ind. 2) to have a
maximum setting run.
b. Remove the split ring (ind. 6) and remove the half-
shell axle (ind. 1).
c. Engage the quick connector link (page 3, ind. J) fixed
to the end anchor (Fig. 1/2 ind. A) in the half-shell
(ind. 1) and replace the shell axis (ind. 5) and split
ring (ind. 6).
d. Check that the quick connector link (Fig. 1/2 ind. J)
moves freely in the half-shell (ind. 1) and the split
ring (ind. 6) is engaged.
 Installation is complete.

6.8. Installing the tension indicator
6.8.1. General
The tension indicator (Fig. 1/2 ind. C) of the travflex™ 2
lifeline is moored to the tensioner at one end (Fig. 1/2,
ind. B) and the other on the INRS shock absorber
(Fig. 1/2, ind. D) through a quick link connector (Fig. 1/2,
ind. J) comes with INRS shock absorber.
Standard delivery, the tension indicator comes in a
polyethylene bag.
6.8.2. Installing on the tensioner
The following assembly procedure refers to Figure 18
on page 11:
a. Remove the split ring (ind. 6) and remove the
tensioner halfshell axle (ind. 5).
b. Engage one end of the indicator in the tensioner half-
shell (ind. 1), align the hole in the tensioner shell (ind.
4) with the end of indicator hole (ind. 8), then replace
the shell axis (ind. 5) and split ring (ind. 6).
c. Check that the tension indicator (Fig. 1/2 ind. C)
moves freely in the half-shell (ind. 1) and the split
ring (ind. 6) is engaged.

6.9. Installing the INRS shock absorbers
6.9.1. General
"IMPORTANT": The travflex™ 2 lifeline must be
equipped with two INRS shock absorbers (Fig. 1/2,
ind. D), one at each end of the lifeline.
The first INRS shock absorber (Fig. 1/2, rep. D) of
the travflex™ 2 lifeline is moored on one side to
the tensioner (Fig. 1/2, ind. D) through a quick link
connector (Fig. 1/2, ind. J) or optional directly onto a
tension indicator (Fig. 1/2, ind. (C) and the other on the
corner unit supplied with the cable (Fig. 1/2, ind. H).
The second INRS shock absorber (Fig. 1/2, rep. (D) is
moored on one side on the end anchor (Fig. 1/2, ind. D)
through a quick link connector (Fig. 1/2, ind. J) comes
with end anchor (Fig. 1/2 ind. A) and the other on the
sleeved cable loop (Fig. 1/2, ind. D) through a quick
link connector (Fig. 1/2, ind. J) comes with INRS shock
absorber (Fig. 1/2 ind. D).
Standard delivery, the INRS shock absorber comes in
a polyethylene bag along with a quick link connector
(ind. J, Fig.1/2).
6.9.2. Installing on the tensioner
The following assembly procedure refers to Figure 19
on page 11:
a. Locate the quick connector (Fig. 1/2 ind. J) in one of
the two mooring loops of the INRS shock absorber
