"IMPORTANT": You must insert an M16 stainless
steel washer (ind. 5) between the bracket and the
structural anchor pin head or nut (ind. 3).
c. Tighten the M16 structural anchor using one or two
24 spanners.
The rest of the procedure refers to Figure 9 on page 5:
d. Assemble the intermediary anchor (ind. 1) on
the bracket (ind. 2) using the M16 bolt (ind. 13)
and locknut (ind. 4), and guide the anchor to the
recommended angular position depending on the
type of securing of the line (section 3):
• Type 1:
For installation on a horizontal or tilted
installation surface at 15° max: 90°.
• Type 2:
Pour une installation sur plan de pose
vertical à +/-5°: 135°.
"NOTE": The angle of 135° represents a
distance of 115 mm between the axis of the securing
hole (ind. 8) and the axis of the tube (ind. 12).
e. Engage the 2 lugs (ind. 6) into the facial groove of
the bracket (ind. 7).
f. Tighten the locknut (ind. 4) until the bracket (ind. 2) is
in firm contact with the intermediate anchor (ind. 1).
"IMPORTANT": Before tightening the M16 nut
(ind. 4), check that the HM 16 hex-head nut (ind. 13)
is engaged in the rotating locking housing provided on
the bracket (ind. 2).
g. Insert the cable (ind. 11) into the tube of the
intermediate anchor- (ind. 12) through the opening
in the propeller (ind.10).
h. Check that the cable (ind. 11) slides freely in the tube
(ind. 12).

on page 6:
a. Place the axis of the securing hole (ind. 8) in the axis
of the interface plate hole (ind. 9).
b. Place the M16 securing bolts (ind. 3) equipped with
the M16 washer (ind. 5) into the hole of the interface
plate (ind. 9) and then into the securing hole of the
bracket (ind. 8).
c. Locate the second M16 washer (ind. 5) and set up
the M16 nut (ind. 4).
d. Tighten the M16 securing bolt and nut with a 24
socket wrench on the bracket side and a 24 spanner
on the interface plate.
For the rest of the installation, follow the points

6.6. Installation of anchors on a bend
6.6.1. General
Bend anchors are secured on the structural anchors
and interface plates (ASPI) as defined in section 7.3.1.
The bend anchors can be installed on horizontal and
tilted (15° max.) installation planes.
For standard delivery, intermediate anchors are
supplied in a polyethylene bag pre-assembled with the
HM16 bolt and locknut (Fig.11).
6.6.2. Assembly of the bend anchor
To facilitate the installation of the bend anchor on a
structural anchor or on an interface plate, Tractel
SAS recommends that you carry out assembly prior to
installation.
The following assembly procedure refers to Figure 12
on page 7:
a. Straighten the anchors (ind. 1) and tighten the HM16
bolts (ind. 3) and M16 nuts (ind. 4) into contact
using a 24 mm spanner to obtain an angle of 90°
+/-5 ° between the axis of the anchor (ind. 1) and the
bracket mounting surface (ind. 11).
"IMPORTANT": Before tightening the M16 nut
(ind. 4), check that the HM 16 hex-head bolt (ind. 3) is
engaged in the rotating locking housing provided on the
bracket (ind. 2).
b. Engage the barrel tip of the anchor tube (ind. 9)
inside the guide tube (ind. 10) for the 2 anchors.
