Procedure 2 – when pycnometer weight has not been entered

In order to record density value for a particular product in products database, go to <Settings>
menu, set <Assign density to product> parameter and press <Product> quick access button to
make the product active.

Respective menu is displayed, using it set the following parameters: Pycnometer volume.

Process of density determination begins.

Take the pycnometer off the pan, fill it with tested substance, follow the pycnometer guidelines.

The supplementary settings enable you to adjust the working mode to your needs and requirements.

Request sample number: NO - sample number not required, single measurement; YES -
sample number required, series of measurements.

Measuring unit: [g/cm
and for final indication printouts.

Assign density to a product: YES/NO; YES - the software automatically assigns the value of
determined density of solid or liquid to <Density> parameter in a product record of the
database of products. To use this function first enter products database and select a product
for which the density procedure is carried out. Next start density determining process (if
density has already been determined for this product, it is replaced with new value).
