Select a formulation, weigh each of its ingredients. Wait for the indication to stabilize and press <
> button. Weight of each ingredient is tared upon pressing <
total mass of the formulation.
Press button to cancel all operations regarding formulation making process. Now you can
prepare a different formulation.
Procedure 1 Formulation not recorded in the Formulation Database – manual preparation. Follow
the displayed prompts.
1. Go to quick access bar and press
2. Name the formulation.
3. Select ingredients for a formulation.
4. Select the first ingredient (new or from database of products).
5. The home screen is displayed.
6. Put the container used for carrying out the measurement on a weighing pan and tare it when the
indication is stable.
7. Dispense specified amount of the ingredient.
8. Press < > button to confirm.
9. Select the next ingredient.
10. Repeat the steps for remaining mixture ingredients.
11. With all the ingredients weighed, select one of the following options:
<Save and finish> - select to save the process to formulations database, the process is finished
automatically, the final report is recorded in formulation database.
<Finish> - select to complete without saving the process to formulations database the process is
finished automatically, the final report is recorded in formulation database.
12. Upon completion, formulation home screen is displayed, message <Completed> is visible in the
bottom bar. To proceed press <
Caution!
It is possible to abort formulation making process at any moment. To abort the process press <
button.
Procedure 2 Formulation recorded in the Formulation Database. Basic recipe-making process.
Procedure 2 allows you to prepare mixture multiplicity easily. Follow the displayed prompts.
1. Press < > button (Formulation).
2. List of Formulations is displayed, select the formulation that is to be carried out.
3. Press < > button (Formulation with multiplier).
If <Multiplier's editing> option is disabled (set to <NO> value), the software automatically skips to
formulation making process. If the <Multiplier's editing> option is enabled (set to <YES> value),
the software displays a window with an on-screen keyboard for inserting the multiplier value.
Mass of all formulation ingredients is multiplied by the specified value (mass of each ingredient is
a product of mass saved to a formulation and multiplier value).
4. Confirm entered multiplier value, formulation making process starts automatically. The following
parameters are displayed: selected formulation name, the first ingredient name, ingredient
number, mass to be weighed and target mass.
5. Load the weighing pan with a container for a weighed product, wait for a stable measurement
indication, tare the balance.
6. Dispense specified amount of the ingredient.
7. Confirm ingredient mass value, the software automatically adds the mass to the sum of weighed
formulation ingredients, the next ingredient weighing begins.
