In that case: Hold it, do not move, and wait 5 seconds. Afterwards,
the values will be saved.
Now, take the steering wheel with one hand, and bring it to a
quarter turn to the right - not too fast and only one movement. You
will see the symbol ‚R' appear on the screen. If not, please check
whether the steering angle to the right did already exceed 5°. If
needed, steer a little more to the right. It si not necessary to hit
5° exactly.
If that was not the cause, maybe the movement has been too fast,
and a non-sufficient quantity of points could be measured. In that
case, there is only one solution: Press ‚Skip Steering' (button on
the bottom left), then click ‚steering', as soon as the data overview
is displayed with all the values'.
Once the ‚R' value was saved, you simply steer to the left until the
steering wheel is something like a quarter turn to the left. The
steering wheel indicator has to show more than 5° to the left.
On successful completion of the steering to the left, the ‚L' symbol
will appear. Now, you have to bring the steering wheel back to the
center, where you started from. It is not required for the steering
wheel to be straight at that time, but in a drive-straight position.

If everything worked fine, you get shown the red traffic light, and
a few seconds later, the values are being displayed.
If the red traffic light does not pop up in the center, in there were
not enough data points that could be taken during the micros-
weep procedure. In that case, please follow the hints given above
to skip and restart steering.
Depending on the manufacturer and model of the car, you will get
some special information before the data overview screen, e.g. for
ride height measurement and entry. The example given here
shows the procedure for a Renault Espace IV:
After making the required selections or confirmations, you get to
the data overview screen. It is now recommended to put the
steering wheel straight, and fix it withh the steering wheel holder.
Afterwards, you press the disk symbol ‚Save' on the menu bar, to
fix exactly this situation as your initial values.
The dynamic data overview shown here has only one goal: To give
a quick visualization of the alignment and chassis situation of the
car. You will be able to see whether there was some big accident
damage, or whether roughly everything is symmetrical. Not more,
not less.
