Printout

- Type:
Alphanumerical: all values in numbers (default, this page is
always printed).
Graphical: additional page visualizing the values similar to
the data summary page (this page is printed additional to the
alphanumeric page).
Chassis Situation: Visualization of the body values, like
setback, axle offset, etc. Additional page to the alphanumeric
page.
Complete: all three pages are always printed.
- Personal Logo:
No: Personal logo not on the printout pages
Yes: The personal logo (file imgprbarra4.bmp in c:\program
files\alinment\graphics\image) is on the right top of the
prontouts.
- Colour Printing:
Yes: Values with specs are printed in green or red
No: Printout in black and white only

Databank

- Archive: Which databank to use for vehicle selection
Main: Only the main databank is shown
User: Only the user databank is shown
Both: Both databanks are shown at the same time
- Markets: Which car market is supposed to be shown for
vehicle selection. Vehicles with the same name may have
different specs in different markets.
- Brand: Which brand is shown as default in the vehicle selec-
tion. Please note that there is a different default setting for
official and commercial vehicle description.
- Databank sorting:
Alphabetical: Vehicles sorted by name
Date: Vehicles sorted by first year of manufacturing
- Selection by Year:
Yes: You will be prompted to enter the car's manufacturing
year, and only suitable models are offered for selection.
No: All models of that brand are always shown in the
selection
- Vehicle Description:
Commercial Description: Commonly used name for a cer-
tain car model. Standard specs, no special manufacturer's
procedure.
Official Description: If applicable and unlocked, the selec-
tion is done after the official manufacturer's name for that
model, using the official manufacturer's procedure. E.g. a
Mercedes E-Class 230 may be officially called 211 series.

Job Record

- Type:
Minimum version: Includes licence plate number, customer
information, car information, and user.
Complete Version: Additionally, you can enter details about
the tyres, i.e. type of tyres, pressure and remaining profile
depth.
- Sorting:
Date: Sorting of the job records (results with additional
information) by date of creation in the local databank.
Customer: Sorting of the job records (results with additional
information) alphabetically by customer name in the local
databank..
Licence plate: Sorting of the job records (results with
additional information) by licence plate in the local databank.

User's name: Sorting of the job records (results with addi-
tional information) by the name of the user in the local
databank.
Order number: Sorting of the job records (results with
additional information) by order number in the local databank.
- Changing permitted:
Yes: It is permitted to modify the results in a data sheet after
recalling it.
No: It is not permitted to modify the results in a data sheet
after recalling it.
- Save work verification:
Yes: When entries for the job record are made, there is an
automatic plausibility check, and the system will ask for
necessary modifications. This way, it is ensured that only
complete job records are produced so that saving is possible
No: No automatism, no prompts. The user has to make sure
himself that at least licence plate number, customer name
and VIN are entered, or saving a job record will not be
permitted.
5.2.6

Aligner Procedures

- Work Place Self-Test (MKS): Only with Mercedes unlocking
smartcard (1 987 009 AS3N).
Yes: Self test procedure is automatically carried out whene-
ver program is started up. You will be prompted to mount the
MKS targets (Special accessory 1 987 009 G53N). The
system will determine the values for lift elevation, roll/pitch
angle of the robot, distance and angles of the target center,
and compare with the originally measured values.
No: MKS procedure disabled.
- Vehicle Selection:
Always: After starting the alignment process, you will be
prompted to select a vehicle from the databank and use it's
specs.
On Request: Default is to run a process without selecting a
vehicle and thus without having specs. You only will be
prompted to enter a wheelbase for the car.
- Veicle Selction Mode:
Databank: When starting the measurement procedure, a
vehicle can be selected from the databank.
Job Record: At startup, you will be shown the list of job
records and select a vehicle and thus a set of specs previous-
ly used.
- Wheel Diameter Entry: (only if toe is measured in mm)
Always: If toe measurement in mm is selected, you will
always be shown the wheel diameter (in inches) from the
databank and prompted to accept or change it.
On Request: If toe measurement in mm is selected, you will
only be prompted to enter the wheel diameter (in inches) if
there is no entry found in the databank.
- Runout Compensation:
Always: The program will only let you make measurements
including runout compensation.
Manual Skip: Runout compensation can be skipped manu-
ally.
Automatic Skip: Runout compensation is never executed
(not recommended).
- Caster Sweep: Please note: Without caster sweep, you will
only get toe and camber values.
Always: You are always shown the command screen to
execute the caster sweep.
On Request: Caster sweep has to be called up manually.
If adjustable: Caster sweep is called up automatically if
caster is adjustable on that vehicle.
