- Rear Axle Adjustment:
Always: In the guided process, you will always be shown the
rear axle adjustment screen after the data summary screen.
If adjustable: In the guided process, you will only be shown
the rear axle adjustment screen after the data summary
screen, if the rear axle is adjustable. Otherwise, the program
will immediately show the front axle adjustment screen.
- Assistance Screens:
Enabled: Procedural assistance screen (e.g. when to mount
the steering wheel holder) are being shown whenever appli-
cable.
Disabled: Assuming that the user is fully familiar with the
process, as many as possible screens are not shown.
- KPI / SAI: If active, KPI/SAI is being measured during caster
sweep (and you will be prompted to mount the brake pedal
depressor), otherwise not. If disabled, there are no KPI/SAI
values on the protocol.

Aligner Settings

- Max. Steering / TOOT:
Always: After caster sweep, you will always be prompted to
steer through the maximum steering angle procedure.
On Request: During caster sweep, you can press a selection
button to measure max steering afterwards.
Never: Maximum steering can not be measured.
- Type of turntables: Not applicable for robot aligner
- Reference axis:
Symmetry axis: Adjustment of toe in reference to car's
symmetry axis.
Thrust line: Adjustment of toe is done in reference to the
thrust line of the car.
Straight steering wheel: (Default) Adjustment of toe in
reference to straight steering wheel.
- Saving of initial values:
Automatic: After caster sweep, the values are automatically
saved as initial measurement.
Manual: Only when you press the ‚save' button on the data
summary screen, initial values will be saved.
Hint: Even in automatic mode, you can overwrite the initial
values at any time, just by pressing the ‚save' button on the
data summary screen.
- Caster sweep:
Not applicable for robot aligner
- Front axle adjustment screen: Here you can decide which of
the following values you want to get shown as default on the
front axle screen:
Caster: right/left
Total toe / setback
- Rear axle adjustment screen: Here you can decide which of
the following values you want to get shown as default on the
rear axle screen:
Total toe / thrust angle
Setback / Track difference
- Thrust angle definition:
Clockwise Positive
Anticlockwise Positiv

Customer logo on the start screen

In order to bring your logo to the start screen, you have to modify
a file and make some settings in the setup.

In the folder C:\Program Files\Alignment\ Graphics\ Logo\ you
will find the logo files "logofew.bmp" and "logofef.bmp".
Please make sure to keep size, colour depth and resolution of the
image file the same.
Also, you have to keep the same name for the file (logofef.bmp=
Logo #1 or logofew.bmp= Pers. Logo #2) in the same folder.
The original files will be overwritten.
After having modified the bitmap image files, you have to select
the customer logo to be displayed on the start screen, refer to
5.2.1.

Individual logo on printout

In order to bring your logo to the printout, you have to modify a file
and make some settings in the setup.
In the folder C:\Program Files\Alignment\Graphics\Image\, you
find the file Imgprbarra4.bmp. This one, you have to modify.
Please make sure to keep size, colour depth and resolution of the
image file the same.
Also, you have to keep the same name for the file, and keep it in
the same folder.
After having modified the bitmap image files, you have to select
the customer logo to be displayed on the start screen, refer to
5.2.3.

Databank management

(refer also to video „Databank_Review.avi" on CD)
In databank management, you may review saved job
records, customer and vehicle data sheets, and the
user databank. Default password „nussbaum".
Job records: Direct access from the start screen to a list
of all saved job records. Double-clicking a line in the job
record list, you can review the job record.
The values measured for that vehicle are
shown. If permitted (see 5.2.6), you can
change the values of the job record.
Select sorting method: Here you can select the
way the job records are sorted in the list.
Default is according to the setting in setup
(5.2.4).
Search: You can search for a special job re-
cord, by specifying a licence plate, a customer
name, a date,...
Search menu
To get back to the list of all job records, press again on
the ‚Search' button, delete all specifications, and press
Enter (E).
