Overview of the most important icons

10.1

Main menu

Start of a measurement process.
User's setup
Non-protected access to all setup functionalities that
the user is allowed to change on the aligner.
After Sales Service
Password protected access to the extended setup and
the after sales service functions.
System shut down
Shuts down the PC and the robes. Important: As soon
as all components are shut down, please turn the
isolator switch off. You have to wait at least one mintue
before turning the isolator switch back on again.
Help
Displays the online help to the actual screen. Help is a
valuable complement to the manual, not replacing it.
Maximum steering
Sets the marker for steering processes beyond the
microsweep. You can toggle to measurements with
TOOT (showing ‚20°' at the right bottom of the sceen)
or with TOOT and Maximum steering (Symbol ‚60°').
Start steering process
Calls the microsweep for measuring caster, and even-
tually preselected extensions of it, like KPI and TOOT.
Data overview
Shows a page with the excerpt from the batabank for
the selected vehicle. Shows the specs, what is adjus-
table, and whether there is adjustment information.
Start measurement with runout compensation
Start measurement without runout compensation. This
option should normally not be used.
Front axle adjustment screen
Calls the front axle adjustment screen. Pressing the
button again will show the front total toe and setback
instead of the caster values.
Rear axle adjustment screen
Calls the rear axle adjustment screen.
Start Jack & Hold mode.
End Jack & Hold mode.
Print preview and printing functions
Calls the print preview screen, from where you can fill
in the job record, print and save.
End of work / Home
Ends the current measurement process and brings you
back to the start screen. The projectors are brought in
standby, the robots go in their initial position.

Common functions

Continue: Brings you to the next step of a predefined
procedure.
Go back: Brings you to the previous step in the proce-
dure.
Skip. Lets you bypass the current step and brings you
directly to the following step in the procedure.
Return to selection: Puts the cursor from the menu bar
back into the selection list.
Save

In the data summary: Saves the actual values as
‚Initial values' for the printout.

In the print preview: If you filled in the job record,
the whole data set will be saved.
Yes / Ok
Confirms a selection or entry
No / Cancel
Cancels a process or answers ‚no'.

Databank

Selection of vehicle market
Preselection, vehicles from which market are supposed
to be offered for selection.
Change to standard / commercial process
Change to original manufacturer process. Requires
unlocking smartcard for some brands.
Preselection of databank
Selection, whether the main databank, the user da-
tabank, or both should be used for selection.
Main databank
Cars are selected from the main databank.
User databank
The user-created databank is used for vehicle selec-
tion.
Both Databanks
Car selection from both databanks.

Adjustment information

These functions are only relevant with unlocking of the animated
adjustment help (1 987 009 AS1N)
Starts playing the adjustment video
Pauses the adjustment video in the actual position
Stops the adjustment video and returns it to the begin-
ning.
