Settings and Configuration

5.1

After Sales Service Settings

After first installation of the software, there are some basic
settings that can be done in the setup in order to have the system
working as desired.
Press , and
entering the password "nussbaum", you will come to the setup
menu.
Setup
Using the keys (o ,(u), (Pageo),(Pageu),(z),(v), or the
mouse, you can select the various menu items. Press (E) or left-
click the mouse in order to confirm a selection. To step back out
of a menu selection, press <ESC>.
After all changes have been done, you get out of the setup by
clicking on the red exit door button
button. Only then, changes will be saved.
Changes are only getting effective after saving. Several
changes require restarting of the software. This will be
shown to you on a message box.

Extras

- Preselect Demo Mode:
Enabled: System starts up in Demo mode
Disabled: System starts up in Live Mode
- Renault Procedure:
Enabled: System starts up using the Renault Procedure
Disabled: System works normally
- ASANetwork: (only with unlocking smartcard 1 987 009
AS7N installed)
Enabled: Measurement procedure starts by searching jobs
on the ASANetwork
Disabled: Measurement starts with vehicle selection or job
record selection from the local databank

- Version display:
Enabled: On the start screen, there is always the software
version and the date of the latest calibration displayed when
starting the program. You can call and hide this information
manually by pressing F12 from the start screen.
Version display
Disabled: Program starts up without the version display on the
start screen.
- Calibration Reminder:
Enabled: 6 months after the last valid calibration, the user
gets a message on the screen that the system requires
calibration.
Disabled: No calibration reminders are being shown.

System

- Windows/Alt+Tab:
Enabled: (Password „ALTTAB", case sensitive!) The win-
dows functions to call other programs or select between
open programs, like the Windows key, and ALT TAB keys are
active.
Disabled: The aligner program is on top of everything else
and you can not call other programs.
- Audio signal:
Enabled: If there is a speaker connected to the PC, there will
be sounds with different program functions.
Disabled: The program does not produce any PC sounds.
- Mouse:
Enabled: The mouse can also be used to control the aligner.
Disabled: The aligner can only be controlled by the key-
board.

Communication

- Sensor Heads: Not used on WAB 02 CCT, can be left on
COM1.
- Romess: COM port where MercedesBenz Romess is con-
nected. Only supported together with unlocking smartcard for
Mercedes procedure (1 987 009 AS3N).
Disabled: No Romess connected
Com Port: (RS 232 serial connection) on which the Romess
is plugged in.
- Lift: On WAB 02 CCT, the lift is always connected on COM1.
This connection is used to transfer the lifting height left/right.
