General OD objects
Various entries in the OD are determined by CiA DS-301.
The OD contains constants, writable entries, readable
entries, as well as entries that can be read and written.
Through the constants and readable entries, the user can
obtain information, e.g. on module states and version
recognition.
The writable entries are for controls as well as module
configuration and deviate from the default settings. All of
the values in the OD changed by the user or during
operation due to a specific situation are lost during a
power breakdown. After it is switched on again, all
objects are at their default values.
Detailed information on OD structure can be obtained
using the respective Electronic Data Sheets (BDC-B-
CO_32.EDS/BDC-BCO_32SB.EDS). The files are in ASCII
format and describe all of the bus coupler's objects.
