Uncontrolled actuator movements when the
pneumatics are switched on
Danger of injury if the system is in an undefined state
and the manual overrides are set to position "1".
O
Put the system in a defined state before
switching it on.
O
Set all manual overrides to position "0".
O
Make sure that no personnel are within the
hazardous zone when the compressed air supply
is switched on.

System stop
The bus coupler's "system stop" mode is indicated when
both the RUN and ERR LEDs are flashing fast (see Tab. 15
on page 90).
If the system is stopped, the outputs return to a safe mode
(= "0") and the bus traffic to the CAN master is interrupted.
The system stop mode can only be exited by restarting
the assembly (power on).
If the system stop is activated, this is because of a one-
time error caused by the hardware or firmware or an
invalid node ID setting (node ID = 0 is not permitted).
When starting the bus coupler (power on), the hardware
components are tested. If an error is found, the system is
then set to the "system stop" mode.
Plausibility tests are constantly carried out while the
firmware is running. If an error is detected during these
tests, the "system stop" mode is activated.
