7.1

Making settings

The following presettings have to be made:
W
Setting the bus coupler address
W
Select the valve supply
W

Setting the baud rate

W
Setting the diagnostic messages.
All of these settings are made using the switch beneath
fittings A and B.
Proceed as follows for all of the presettings:
1. Remove the corresponding fittings.
2. Adjust the corresponding setting as described below.
3. Screw the fittings back in (0.6 + 0.2 Nm). Pay
attention that the sealing rings are positioned
correctly.
7.1.1 Setting the baud rate
The baud rate is set on switch S3 (see Tab. 10 on page 82).
It is located under fitting B.
1. Open fitting B.
2. Set the baud rate (transfer rate) with the S3.1 to S3.3
switches in accordance with the information listed in
Tab. 10 on page 82.
Default setting: 1 MBaud
