5.5.c. Demounting
1- Press the button to move the demount-
ing tool to the work position (Fig. 26a).
2- Move the lever downwards to place the
demounting tool in contact with the tyre (Fig. 26b).

3- Rotate the wheel, exercising pressure on the
pedal while moving the lever
downwards until completely inserting the mobile
tool under the bead (Fig. 26c).
4- Keeping the wheel in rotation, press and hold
down the button to hook the bead.

If necessary, operate the control to lower
the head further.
5- After hooking the bead, release the
button and stop the rotation.
6- Move the lever upwards to lift the demount-

ing tool until moving it above the rim edge (Fig. 26d).
Facilitate the operation by using the lower bead
breaker disc: operate the control to lift
the disc in order to move the lower bead in the
centre of the well.
