Use a USB key with a maximum 2 GB capacity.
Request a replacement from the service network if it is faulty.
TPMS UPDATE
1. Insert the USB key with the updated software
into the USB port of the S 1000 and wait 10 seconds.
2. Select UPDATE TPMS then press the confi rm
button (Fig. 40h).
The message in Fig. 40i is displayed.
- If the update does not start after 10 attempts, an
error message is displayed (Fig. 40l).
Press the confi rm key
previous screen, then repeat the steps from point
1.
- If the update starts, the installation progress of
the new fi le is displayed (Fig. 40m).
- If the installation procedure is interrupted, the
message shown in Fig. 40n is displayed.
In this case, press the confi rm key
go back to the previous screen, then repeat the
steps from point 2.
