SUSPENSION DELANTERA
La suspensión delantera se compone de una horquilla hi-
dráulica conectada por medio de dos placas al manguito
de la dirección.
Para programar el ajuste del vehículo, cada barra de la
horquilla está equipada con un tornillo superior (1) para
ajustar el frenado hidráulico en extensión, uno inferior (2)
para ajustar el frenado hidráulico en compresión y con
una tuerca superior (3) para ajustar la precarga del mue-
lle.
Es posible personalizar el ajuste del vehículo, variando la
altura del tren delantero.
Lea con mucha atención pág. 9-15 (PRECAUCIONES
E INFORMACIONES GENERALES).
Sustituya el aceite de la horquilla delantera tras los pri-
meros 4000 km (2500 mi) y sucesivamente cada 20000
km (12500 mi).
Cada 8000 km (5000 mi) realice los siguientes controles:
Con la palanca del freno delantero accionada, presio-
ne varias veces sobre el manillar de manera que la
horquilla se hunda. La carrera debe ser suave y no
debe haber rastro de aceite sobre las barras.
En caso de que note o si alguien se queja de que la hor-
quilla se hunde excesivamente, es necesario sustituir el
aceite, véase pág. 9-139 (SUSTITUCIÓN ACEITE HOR-
QUILLA).
Controle que la horquilla no tenga pérdidas de aceite y
que la superficie exterior de las barras no estén rayadas
o tengan ranuras.
En este caso sustituya todos los componentes dañados
que no puedan ser arreglados, véase pág. 9-141 (DES-
MONTAJE BARRA PORTARRUEDA – BOTELLA).
Controle el apriete de todos los órganos y la funciona-
lidad de las articulaciones de la suspensión delantera y
trasera.

FRONT SUSPENSION
The front suspension consists of an hydraulic fork con-
nected to the steering column by means of two plates.
For the setting of the vehicle attitude, each rod of the fork
is provided with an upper screw (1) for the adjustment of
the hydraulic braking with extended shock absorber, a
lower screw (2) for the adjustment of the hydraulic brak-
ing with compressed shock absorber and an upper nut (3)
for the adjustment of the spring preload.
It is possible to personalize the attitude of the vehicle, by
varying the height of the front part of the vehicle.
Read p. 9-16 carefully (PRECAUTIONS AND GENER-
AL INFORMATION).
Change the front fork oil after the first 4000 km (2500 mi)
and then every 20000 km (12500 mi).
Carry out the following checks every 8000 km (5000 mi):
With pulled front brake lever, press the handlebar re-
peatedly, thrusting the fork downwards.
The stroke must be gentle and there must be no trace
of oil on the rods.
If the fork can be thrusted to the end of its stroke, it is nec-
essary to change the oil, see p. 9-139 (CHANGING THE
FORK OIL).
Make sure there are no oil leaks and that the outer sur-
face of the tubes is neither scratched nor grooved.
In this case, change all the damaged components that
cannot be repaired, see p. 9-141 (DISASSEMBLING THE
WHEEL-HOLDER TUBE - SLIDER UNIT).
Check the fastening of all the components and the
functionality of the front and rear suspension joints.
