CHASSIS
INSPECTION
Check that the suspension components (rear
swingarm, double connecting rod, single con-
necting rods) are not deformed, broken or
cracked. Replace all damaged components.
Check that pins, bushes and seal springs are
not worn or damaged. In this case, replace
them.
Check that the movement of each articulation
is smooth, unhampered and devoid of excessi-
ve free play. Otherwise, replace the bearings
and bush pins in question.
NOTE:
Always replace the bearings and roller cases di-
sassembled with new ones.
REAR SWINGARM PIN
Using a comparator check that the runout limit of
the front fork does not exceed the indicated limit.
Otherwise, replace the pin with a new one.
Maximum swingarm pin turnout limit: 0,3 mm
SHOCK ABSORBER
Check that no oil leaks from the shock absorber
and that it works smoothly and progressively.
The shock absorber can be neither recharged
nor repaired. If it breaks or is rundown, it must
be replaced with a new one complete with
tank.
WARNING:
Do not force or try to open the shock absorber
*
and tank.
Do not expose the shock absorber to naked
*
flames or other sources of heat.
CHASIS
CONTROL
Verificar que los componentes de la suspen-
sión (horquilla, biela doble, bielas individua-
les) no estén deformados o presenten roturas
o grietas. Substituir todos los componentes
dañados.
Verificar que los pasadores, los casquillos y los
anillos de retén no estén desgastados o daña-
dos. En este caso hay que substituirlos.
Verificar que el movimiento de cada articula-
ción sea suave, sin tropiezos o juegos excesi-
vos. En caso contrario, hay que subtituir los
cojinetes y los pasadores/casquillos interesa-
dos.
NOTA:
Substituir siempre los cojinetes y los estuches de
rodillos desmontados con otros nuevos.
PERNO DE LA HORQUILLA
Controlar con un comparador que la excentreci-
dad del perno de la horquilla no supere el valor lí-
mite indicado. En caso contrario hay que substituir
el perno con uno nuevo.
Excentricidad máxima del perno de la horquilla:
0,3 mm
AMORTIGUADOR
Controlar que el amortiguador no presente
pérdidas de aceite y que el funcionamiento sea
suave y progresivo.
El amortiguador no puede ser recargado ni re-
parado. En caso de avería o cuando esté de-
scargado, hay que substituirlo con uno nuevo
junto al depósito.
ATENCION:

No hay que forzar o intentar abrir el amorti-
guador y el depósito.
*
No hay que exponer el amortiguador a la llama
viva o a otras fuentes de calor.
