Mantenga el vehículo en posición vertical con las dos
ruedas apoyadas sobre el suelo.
Desenrosque y quite el tapón de llenado (1).
Rellene con líquido refrigerante, véase pág. 9-20 (TA-
BLA DE LUBRIFICANTES) hasta que el nivel del líqui-
do esté comprendido entre las referencias "MIN" y
"MAX" impresas sobre el tubo transparente de control
(2).
No supere este nivel, porque en caso contrario puede
haber una salida del líquido durante el funcionamiento
del motor.
Vuelva a poner el tapón de llenado (1).
Arranque el motor y hágalo funcionar por algunos mi-
nutos, déjelo enfriar y controle nuevamente el nivel del
líquido en el depósito de expansión.
Eventualmente rellene.

En caso de un excesivo consumo de líquido
refrigerante y en caso de que el depósito que-
de vacío, controle que no haya pérdidas en el
circuito.

Lea con mucha atención pág. 9-15 (PRECAUCIONES
E INFORMACIONES GENERALES).
Controle cada 500 km (312 mi). Lubrique cada 500 km
(625 mi).
El vehículo está equipado con una cadena sin fin rema-
chada (sin enganche).
Tipo de cadena: DID modelo 520 V6
La cadena de transmisión está equipada de
juntas toricas entre los eslabones, que sirven
para mantener la grasa en el interior.
Tenga mucho cuidado cuando realice el ajuste, lubri-
cación, limpieza y substitución de la cadena.
Coloque el vehículo sobre un caballete de sostén y gire
con la mano la rueda trasera con el cambio en punto
muerto.
Controle visualmente que la cadena de transmisión no
tenga ninguno de los defectos indicados a continuación.
Pernos flojos.
Rodillos dañados.
Eslabones oxidados o agarrotados.
Eslabones deformados o aplastados.
Desgaste excesivo.
Cadena no ajustada correctamente.
Pérdida de juntas tóricas.
Hay que substituir la cadena si presenta uno solo de los
defectos indicados.

Keep the vehicle in vertical position, with the two
wheels resting on the ground.
Unscrew and remove the filling plug (1).
Top up with coolant, see p. 9-20 (LUBRICANT
CHART) until the coolant level is included between the
"MIN" and "MAX" marks stamped on the transparent
pipe (2).
Do not exceed this level, otherwise the fluid will flow
out of the tank when the engine is running.
Put back the filling plug (1).
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, then let
it cool down and check the level of coolant in the ex-
pansion tank again.
If necessary, top up.
Total quantity: 1.9
In case of excessive consumption of coolant
and in case the tank remains empty, make
sure that there are no leaks in the circuit.

Read p. 9-16 carefully (PRECAUTIONS AND GENER-
AL INFORMATION).
Check every 500 km (625 mi). Lubricate every 500 km
(625 mi).
The vehicle is fitted with an endless chain, which does not
utilise the connecting link.
Chain type: DID mod. 520 V6
The driving chain is equipped with O rings be-
tween the links designed to keep the grease
on the inside.
Use the maximum caution in adjusting, lubricating,
washing and replacing the chain.
Position the vehicle on the special stand and slowly ro-
tate, manually, the rear wheel with the gear in neutral.
Visually check that the chain presents none of the defects
listed below:
Pins loosened
Rollers damaged
Links rusted or seized
Links deformed or with rims
Excessive wear
Chain not adjustable correctly
Leak of O rings
If the chain presents even one of the listed defects, it
must be replaced.
