CONTROL DISCOS DE FRENO
Hay que realizar las siguientes operaciones
con los discos de freno instalados en la rue-
da; éstas se refieren a un solo disco pero tienen vali-
dez incluso para ambos.
Controle el desgaste del disco midiendo con un micró-
metro, en varios puntos, el espesor mínimo.
Si el espesor mínimo fuera inferior al valor mínimo,
aunque en un solo punto, sustituya el disco.
Valor mínimo del espesor del disco: 3,5 mm
Utilizando un comparador, controle que la oscilación
máxima del disco no supere la tolerancia, en caso
contrario sustitúyalo, véase abajo (DESMONTAJE
DISCO FRENO).
Tolerancia de oscilación del disco: 0,3 mm
En cuanto a la purga aire sistemas de frenado,
véase pág. 2-34 (PURGA DEL AIRE DESDE EL
CIRCUITO HIDRÁULICO DE LOS FRENOS).
DESMONTAJE DISCOS DE FRENO
Lea con cuidado pág. 9-15 (PRECAUCIONES E IN-
FORMACIONES GENERALES).
Desmonte la rueda delantera, véase pág. 9-113 (DES-
MONTAJE RUEDA COMPLETA).
Las siguientes operaciones se refieren a un
solo disco, pero tienen validez incluso para
ambos.
Para destornillar los tornillos (1) se aconseja utilizar
una pistola atornilladora de aire que dará un golpe
seco desbloqueando la acción del LOCTITE
Destornille y quite los seis tornillos disco freno (1).
Par de apriete tornillos disco freno (1):
30 Nm (3 kgm) + LOCTITE
Durante la reinstalación aplique LOCTITE
243 sobre la rosca de los tornillos disco freno
(1).
Durante la reinstalación atornille todos los
tornillos (1) manualmente y apriételos actuan-
do en diagonal siguiendo el orden: A-B-C-D-E-F.
Extraiga el disco freno (2).

CHECKING THE BRAKE DISCS
The following operations must be performed
with the brake discs installed on the wheel;
they are referred to a single disc, but are valid for
both.
Check the wear on the disc by measuring the minimum
thickness in several places by means of a micrometer.
If, even in one point of the disc only, the minimum thick-
ness is below the minimum value, change the disc.
Brake disc min. thickness: 3.5 mm
Using a comparator, make sure that the maximum run
out of the disc does not exceed the limit value, other-
wise change it, see below (REMOVING THE BRAKE
DISCS).
Brake disc max. run out: 0.3 mm

CUIT).
REMOVING THE BRAKE DISCS
Carefully read p. 9-16 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENER-
AL INFORMATION).
Remove the front wheel, see p. 9-113 (REMOVING
THE WHOLE WHEEL).
The following operations are referred to a sin-
gle disc, but are valid for both.
To unscrew the screws (1), it is advisable to use a
pneumatic screwer to release them from the LOC-

243.
Unscrew and remove the six brake disc screws (1).
Brake disc screw (1) driving torque:
30 Nm (3 kgm) + LOCTITE

Upon reassembly, apply LOCTITE
thread of the brake disc screws (1).
Upon reassembly, screw all the screws (1)
manually and tighten them proceeding in the
diagonal direction and in the following order: A-B-C-
D-E-F.
Remove the brake disc (2).
