REINSTALACIÓN RUEDA
Lea con cuidado pág. 9-15 (PRECAUCIONES E IN-
FORMACIONES GENERALES).
Durante el desmontaje y el montaje ponga cui-
dado en no dañar los tubos, los discos y las
pastillas de los frenos.
La flecha en el flanco de la rueda indica el sentido de
rotación. Durante la instalación asegúrese de que la
rueda sea montada correctamente; flecha en el lado
izquierdo del vehículo (véase figura).
Extienda una capa sutil de grasa lubricante en toda la
longitud del eje rueda (7), véase pág. 9-20 (TABLA DE
LUBRIFICANTES).
El distanciador (8) debe ser colocado con el
lado de diámetro mayor orientado hacia la ba-
rra derecha de la horquilla.
Coloque el distanciador (8) en su sede en la rueda.
Coloque la rueda entre las barras de la horquilla sobre
el soporte (6).
Desplace la rueda hasta alinear el agujero central con
los agujeros de la horquilla.
Peligro de lesiones.
No introduzca los dedos para alinear los agu-
jeros.
Introduzca completamente el eje rueda (7).
Coloque la arandela y apriete la tuerca (4) manual-
mente.
Apriete definitivamente la tuerca (4).
Par de apriete tuerca rueda (4):
80 Nm (8 kgm).
Opere con precaución para no dañar las pasti-
llas de los frenos.
Introduzca la pinza freno (2) en el disco y colóquela
con los agujeros de fijación alineados con los del so-
porte.
Durante la reinstalación de la pinza freno, sus-
tituya los tornillos (1) de sujeción pinza con
dos tornillos nuevos del mismo tipo.
Atornille y apriete los dos tornillos (1) de fijación pin-
za freno.
Par de apriete tornillos (1) pinza freno:
50 Nm (5 kgm)
Con la palanca del freno delantera accionada, presio-
ne varias veces sobre el manillar empujando hacia el
fondo la horquilla.
De tal forma las barras de la horquilla se ajustarán de
manera apropiada.
Apriete los dos tornillos (5) de la brida eje rueda.
Par de apriete tornillos brida (5) eje rueda:
25 Nm (2,5 kgm)
Tras haber instalado la rueda, accione varias
veces la palanca del freno delantero y contro-
le el funcionamiento correcto del sistema de
frenado.
REASSEMBLING THE WHEEL
Read p. 9-16 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFOR-
MATION) carefully.
While disassembling and reassembling the
wheel, be careful not to damage the brake
pipes, the discs and the pads.
The arrow on the side of the wheel indicates the rota-
tion direction. Be careful to reassemble the wheel
correctly, as indicated by the arrow on the left side of
the vehicle (see figure).
Spread a film of lubricating grease on the whole length
of the wheel pin (7), see p. 9-20 (LUBRICANT
CHART).
The spacer ring (8) must be positioned with
the side having wider diameter facing the fork
right rod.
Position the spacer ring (8) in its seat on the wheel.
Position the wheel between the fork rods on the sup-
port (6).
Move the wheel until its central hole and the holes on
the fork are aligned.
Danger of injury.
Do not introduce your fingers to align the
holes.
Introduce the wheel pin (7) completely.
Position the washer and tighten the nut (4) manually.
Tighten the nut (4) definitively.
Wheen nut (4) driving torque:
80 Nm (8 kgm).
Proceed with care, in order not to damage the
brake pads.
Insert the brake caliper (2) on the disc and position it
so that its fastening holes and the holes on the support
are aligned.
Upon reassembly of the brake caliper, replace
the caliper fastening screws (1) with two new
screws of the same type.
Screw and tighten the two screws (1) that fasten the
brake caliper.
Brake caliper screw (1) driving torque:
50 Nm (5 kgm)
With pulled front brake lever, press the handlebar re-
peatedly, thrusting the fork downwards.
In this way the fork rods will settle properly.
Tighten the two screws (5) of the wheel pin clamp.
Wheel pin clamp screw (5) driving torque:
25 Nm (2.5 kgm)
After reassembly, pull the front brake lever re-
peatedly and check the correct functioning of
the braking system.
